UCC Contest Regulations 2020

                                               

Date and time: April 24 (Friday) 2020, 19:00 - 22:59 UTC.

Competition is open, i.e. radio amateurs from around the world can take part in it.

 

Band: 80 m.

 

Modes: CW + SSB.

 

Contest consist of 4 mini tours (parts) of 60 minutes each.

Evevrybody can work with the same station in each mini tour and in different mode (i.e. up to 2 QSOs in each mini tour,

or up to 8 QSOs during all competition).

 

Exchange: between all participants,

a) UCC members, including foreign ones, transmit:

the report + the abbreviation UCC together with the membership number (59 UCC4, 599 UCC123 ..).

Note: the abbreviation UCC together with the membership number allowed only to members of the club who are

in the list of active club members on the UCC website http://www.ucc.in.ua/uccmembers.htm

 

b) The other participants - radio amateurs around the world transmit:

report and serial number of QSO (59 001, 599 115 ...).

 

Scoring: 1 point for each QSO.

 

Multiplier: each new UCC club member number (UCC4, UCC13, UCC123 ...) in each mini tour and each

mode.

 

Total points: the sum of points of all QSOs multiplied by the total multiplier of the four mini tours.

     C. Non-UCC Members HP (Over 100 Watts) MIXED

     C.1 Non-UCC Members HP (Over 100 Watts) CW

     C.2 Non-UCC Members HP (Over 100 Watts) SSB

     D. Non-UCC Members LP (100 watts maximum) MIXED

     D.1 Non-UCC Members LP (100 watts maximum) CW

     D.2 Non-UCC Members LP (100 watts maximum) SSB

     E. MO many operators HP (Over 100 watts) MIXED

Due to the pandemic of the virus COVID-19, please observe the quarantine conditions.
Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

 

The use of clusters / skimmers is allowed, however, self-spotting (information about yourself) is strictly prohibited.

At any given time, a station can transmit only one signal.

 

Awarding:

The winners in the MIXED subgroups will be awarded with UCC plaques.

In the other subgroups, the first three places are awarded with diplomas in electronic form.

 

The LOGs in cabrillo format must be sent within 5 days after the end of the contest

to the address: ucccup[at]ukr.net

 

Recommended frequencies for these competition:

CW: 3.510 - 3.565 MHz

SSB: 3,600 - 3,750 MHz

Recommended contest loggers: Mixw-4, TR4W and N1MM +.

 

UCC Contest Committee
